Each win during the regular season gets 2 points, a ties gets 1 point.
In each round of the playoffs, you earn the following multiple (your points multiplied by these amounts):
Wildcard Weekend: 4 x
Divisional Playoffs: 8 x
Conference Championships: 12 x
Super Bowl: 20 x

The idea is to make your picks every week, and then do really well at your playoff prognostication. In the past, the winners have been determined by their ability to read the scores, check their tea leaves, pray hard and make a pick based on their favourite team. Or some other method, known only to the punter and their persona diety.
As with all of these pools, the usual percentage of wins predicted during the regular season is between 40% and 60%, so don't give up, any fool can win. (I came in third last year, which is proof!)

We are anticipating that the 1st place punter (that’s a British term for bettor, we’ve always been International!) will get a check in excess of $179.99
